Course Registration During the Summer is Kinda A Nail Biter...
OThe course registration list for the International Summer School Program is published quite early, as I was able to see it since January. Although this initial list is a great way to get a general idea of your options, it is highly unreliable.
There are much fewer courses offered over the summer than in the spring and fall, so check with your advisor to make sure there are enough options just in case your first choices fall through. Know that It is not guaranteed that you'll get the courses listed, as quite a few were canceled before registration even started. Others were canceled because less than 10 people signed up for it. It would be really stressful to find out that there aren't any courses that you can get credit because your first choices were canceled. The only business course that I could get credit for barely reached the 10-person enrollment requirement, and I prayed so hard that it wouldn't get canceled because one of the requirements for my scholarship was to take at least one business class.
Course Registration Process Course registration opened between June 1-2. Again be sure to note that it is based on Korean Standard time, and popular classes, such as Korean Pop Culture, fill up quick. So, don't be late to registration! Unlike the spring/fall semesters, the summer semester does not use a mileage point system. Instead, registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You'll receive an email from Yonsei reminding you about registration about a week before it begins. This email includes a course enrollment guide, which has all the info about logging in to your account, rules about registering, etc - definitely read it beforehand, it is very helpful (;
Tip: I've found that writing down the course codes and titles before registration started to be helpful, as all you have to do is search the code and the course will quickly pop up. Tip 2: If you receive a pop-up notification after adding the course to your list but it doesn't load, don't get to worried. A lot of students had the same problem and I think it's just a confirmation that it's been added. If you really want to be sure that you are enrolled in your classes, you can check your course schedule.

Here is my course schedule this summer! I am taking an International Human Resources class and a Korean Cinema Class. Once summer is over, I'll give a review of how the classes went!
